Academus Crash Courses
Mythology Crash Course
This course has already run for 2021, we intend to run the same event next year
The Academus Mythology Crash Course will provide a free online introduction to mythology, designed for 14-18-year-olds. It is designed to be an intensive 5-hour insight programme into the mythology of Ancient Greece and Rome. Students will cover a broad range of figures and stories from Ancient Mythology to further their understanding of the Ancient World.

All of our tutors have study myth in-depth and often specialised in the fields that they teach. Our modules are all specially developed to make Classics as accessible as possible using new and innovative online teaching techniques.

The course will cover a range of topics across Graeco-Roman mythology. It will also touch on reception studies and will provide an excellent basis for any students considering pursuing Classics further in their education.

Easter Crash Course

The Academus Easter Crash Course will provide a free online interdisciplinary introduction to classics designed for 14-18-year-olds. It is designed to be an intensive 10-hour insight programme into the ancient world. Students will cover the history and culture of Greece and Rome over the two days.

. All of our tutors have specialised in their subject area, which makes them the best people for the job. Many of our modules have been specially developed by university academics so that we can provide the best content for our students.

The course will cover a range of topics across Graeco-Roman history and literature. It will also touch on reception studies and will provide an excellent basis for any students considering pursuing Classics at university.
